After obtaining a Federal Certificate of Proficiency in commerce and banking, Elsa Barbosa worked for several years in the service of independent asset managers at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise. She then joined a Lausanne company active in bond trading before returning to Banque Cantonale Vaudoise to take up a position as a senior assistant in the service of independent asset managers.
In 2020, Elsa joined Vector Gestion as a management assistant and substitute Compliance officer.
